Based on the foundation of the Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences's years of coal-based slurry bed synthesis of liquid fuel technology research, Synfuels China Technology Co., Ltd was formed as a high-tech company by the joint investment of industry partners including Inner Mongolia Yitai Group Co., Ltd., Shenhua Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi Lu'an Mining (Group) Co., Ltd., Xuzhou Coal Mining Group Co., Ltd. and Beijing Liansun Energy Co., Ltd.

 

Synfuels China corporates the spirit of “Technology Pioneer, contribute to the National Energy Strategy” and the company tenet of “Our Expertise Energy in Future”. In the 863 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Knowledge Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Shanxi Provincial Government and with the support of related companies, systematic research and development of coal-based liquid fuel synthetic slurry bed industrialisation technology has been systematically carried out, and a complete independent intellectual property rights coal-based liquid fuel synthetic slurry bed industrialisation technology has been formed. It is the only coal-based synthetic oil technology research and development company in China. Synfuels China is aimed at the domestic and international coal indirect liquefaction industry. It aims to research and promote self-developed coal-based synthetic liquid fuel industrialisation technology.
